I still remember the first time I was caught speeding. I was driving through Nevada, at a somewhat impressive speed. (By the way, in case any of you were curious, my Saturn’s engine tops out at 103mph.) The police officer was pretty cool though. On the ticket he wrote that I was only going 5 mph over the speed limit, instead of…well…a lot more. He did so because he noticed I was a Giants fan. Yup. My die-hard baseball allegiance saved me a couple hundred dollars and some points on my license. And that, boys and girls, is yet another reason why choosing the right baseball team is so very important.

03/03/2004 – I am such a sellout. I’m sorry, really. In other news, I tried something a little new with the shading on this one. Lemme know what you think. I think it looks good, but I need to have a bit more experience with it. I need to get some brushes and try inking the strips a little differently too, but we’ll get to that later. Oh yeah, one more thing, Burger King is lame. Aside from forgetting my cheese, they didn’t give us straws either. Major loss of SWASS points.
