When I visit my sister's for a holiday meal, she does all the cooking. I bring wine.

I missed you!

Barring a lack of flour, that might be a legit cake recipe! Literally, I made something very similar:

Preheat oven to 350f

Classic pound cake: 1lb eggs, ilb flour, 1lb sugar, 1lb butter (I used olive oil), 1tbsp vanilla, 2tsp salt, 2tsp baking soda.

I threw the wet stuff in a bowl first, hit it with a blender because I didn't feel like mixing by hand. Once it was all more or less uniform, I started adding the dry stuff until everything was more or less smooth.

Made a ton of batter, I greased up two loaf pans with cooking spray and poured the stuff in. Bake for 65 minutes. It came out actually edible! =^^=

My only complaint it grew up rather tall in the pans. It didn't overflow, but I wanted a dense cake. Next time I do this, I'll cut the recipe in half, and delete the baking powder altogether...

Good seeing you again! =^^=
