Alright. I’ve had it. You’ve had it. There’s one in every workplace. This needs to be addressed.
What is up with these people?? Seriously. Some of them are always hot. Some of them are always cold. C’mon people, this isn’t Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You don’t get to dictate to the rest of us the thermostat.
All of you have experienced the inevitable battle of the thermostat. I’m here to help you. You see, I’m on the internet (in case you hadn’t noticed, you’re reading this on the internet). Thus, I am an authority on whatever subject I choose to write about. Kind of like Wikipedia, except far more opinionated and with cooler hair.
So here you go. This is the official word from the internet. Feel free to cite it as needed.
The perfect inside temperature is 72 degrees. Your thermostat should be set at 72 degrees. That is where it should be. Don’t argue with me. Don’t try to convince me otherwise. I am the all-powerful and mighty internet. My word is law. So let it be written, so let it be done.

So wait… you’re dictating the exact degreeage and YOU’RE not the one who’s too picky?
When I worked at Illumra this is why their thermostats didn’t have specific temperatures, just relative dials.
Haha LEGEND! Reminds me of a war I had with one of room mates. She always set it way cold and so I came up with a compromise… she decides on a temperature we don’t go above and we choose one she didn’t go below and have a happy medium…. That didn’t work she thought she could decided the exact temperature… it wasn’t 72 degrees… I felt like I was living in Antarctica not Florida! Haha
