School is OUT!!! Summer is here!!!!! And I for one am thrilled about it.
As some of the more regular readers may have noticed, I have been extra extra busy as of late. I took on a teaching job at a local high school. It’s been a heck of a lot of fun, especially since I’m teaching Film classes and the students are rad. I was hopeful that I would get the job permanently starting in the fall and have been holding my breath through the application process. News arrived last week that the job is indeed mine. I’m very excited, as I will get to continue working with rad high schoolers, that I get to teach Film, and that the pay is not too shabby either.
I can see what you’re thinking. “But…what does this mean for Raccoon Toons??”
Well take a deep breath and relax, because in the long run, it means great things. For the next year or so, I will likely be very busy as I work on my CA teaching credential. I still hope to update regularly during that time, but please bear with me if things get a little dicey. The good news is I’ll be quitting a lot of my other jobs while I teach and finish my credential. Once that extra schooling is out of the way, there ought to be more a more than adequate amount of time for regular Raccoon Toons goodness.
We’re in good shape people. And there’s lots more to come.
